Just two days ago, there was the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. And just a couple days later, we have the first official trailer for the next film from Lucasfilm.
The upcoming movie serves as the first standalone flick in the epic space franchise’s history. “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” hits theaters on Dec. 16.
To add to the list of Star Wars excitement, Disney and Lucasfilm are expected to release a new “Star Wars” installment every year for at least the next five years, with “Episode VIII” set for a December 15, 2017 opening and a young Han Solo anthology film already on the docket for 2018.
Although we do not know exactly when Star Wars land will be complete in Disney World, there will continue to be a lot of excitement on screen and at Walt Disney world for years to come for all Star Wars fans.
